The primary reasons employees prefer working from home include a desire for a better work-life balance (86%) and reduced commuting time (87%). Additionally, 73% of respondents reported feeling more productive when working remotely.

According to a Federal Reserve report, 28% of employees indicated they would be very likely to look for another job if required to work in person daily, even more than the 18% who would consider leaving due to a pay freeze.

As of October 2022, 19% of employees worked entirely from home, a significant increase from just 7% who worked mostly from home in 2019.
